Waverley House

A phased project, this new-build care home and day care centre was literally built around the existing care home on the site. (Residents had expressed a strong desire to stay-put whilst their new home was built.) On the very edge of the central-Leominster Conservation Area, our design strives to mediate between the architecture of this historic core and the later architecture to its east; whilst providing contemporary accommodation for its residents and day-care users. Our perimeter-development design both facilitated the necessary phased construction and also allowed us to create a sheltered, private garden, for residents to enjoy.
