Pentan Partnership has just completed its first certified Passivhaus(es), for Hendre Housing Association - in partnership with Holbrook Construction and BRE Wales. Our client's brief was to design a pair of 3-bedrooms, semi-detached houses (part of a larger residential development) that were not recognisably different in their overall appearance from their neighbours. Taking 'pattern book' houses as its starting point, Pentan Partnership has acheived just this. Our thanks to the whole team, but especially to Holbrook Construction and to Holbrook Timber Frame for their skill and dedication throughout the entire design and construction process.
