Pentan Partnership's first project for Cwmbran-based Bron Afon Community Housing has been granted Planning Permission. Fairview Court, Pontnewynydd, Pontypool, a twelve-storeys, 1960s, Wimpey no-fines-construction residential tower block, will be completely refurbished and upgraded to current thermal and acoustic standards. It will also be extended, with the creation of a roof-top pavilion, to provide a meeting place for the residents of its seventy flats. Work will start on site shortly.
