Several of the largest projects in Pentan’s Partnership’s 14 years history were granted Planning Permissions this month. All located in our home base of South Wales, these projects include Nantyglo extra-care – a 44 flats development for the elderly, by United Welsh Housing Association, in partnership with Blaenau-Gwent County Borough Council; Kenfig Hill extra-care – 39 flats for the elderly, by Valleys-to-Coast Housing Association, in partnership with Bridgend County Borough Council; Woodcroft care home, in Cardiff – a 60-beds state-of-the-art, dementia-friendly residential care home for the elderly, by Hafod Care Association; and Bargoed Library – the conversion of a Listed Baptist chapel to a public library, by United Welsh Housing Association, in partnership with Caerphilly County Borough Council. These care projects cement Pentan Partnership’s reputation as one of the leading architects in the field of care projects for the elderly; whilst the
competition-winning Bargoed library project will be our first public building for many years. We hope that it will be first of many !
Our thanks to all the clients concerned for putting their faith in us and for allowing us to stretch the proverbial boundaries across all of these projects.
