Ed Green
Associate Director
After completing a PhD in environmental design at the Welsh School of Architecture (WSA), Ed joined Pentan Partnership in 2002. He was appointed to the position of Associate in 2004. He continues to combine his practice life with teaching at the WSA, where he both trained as an architect and also completed an MPhil in urban design.
Ed enjoys supplementing his practice workload with competition submissions, including the RSAW’s ‘Cardiff 2055’ competition (group, first place), Byker Urban Design Competition (commendation), Aberafan Pier development (first place), and Ideal Homes Competition (exhibited).
In recent years Ed has been responsible for several of Pentan Partnership's healthcare and residential schemes. Amongst these is the competition-winning extra-care development on Aberafan sea front, for Dewi Sant Housing Association, which was exhibited at the National Eisteddfod in 2008. Current projects include another (2007) competition win: a new Library, Customer First Centre and worship space within a grade II* Listed chapel in Bargoed, South Wales.
