Pentan Partnership has its roots in the Housing Association movement. First established in 1979, as the in-house design practice of SHAW Housing Association, it became an independent private practice in 1995. Since then, it has developed and honed its expertise in residential, social-care and health-care architecture; and, today, Pentan Partnership is recognised as one of the design leaders in these sectors – both in its home-base of Wales and also in England.

Services that we provide include architecture, interior design, community participation, project management, CDM co-ordination and energy assessment (Code for Sustainable Homes, SAP & EPC). Sustainability is one of the cornerstones of our architecture and, as well being certified Passivhaus designers, we are also members of AECB (the sustainable building association) and The Green Register of construction professionals.

We also participate in the RIBA's annual Architect-in-the-House scheme, in which we give free design advice to house-holders in return for a donation to housing charity SHELTER.
